Simulation and Training - Scenarios that Train Effectively

Better than simple questions, scenarios presented using electronic media provide more memorable experiences that build learning and skills

Most training methods rely on presenting information in factual form and then requiring the trainee to repeat this information at random during a review, test, or certification exam. Rather than seeing knowledge as an assembly of facts, the Connected Training approach utilizes scenario-based learning to train effectively, in a manner which minimizes rote learning and emphasizes developing true skills at a higher retention level. The trainee is given an example to view or interact with, and then instructed about how this scenario adheres to or breaks policies and practices.

By opening up the training environment to all levels of the trainee's perception and experience, scenarios become relevant on a much higher level and afford a real opportunity for growth in the mind of the employee.
