Simulation and Training - Scenarios that Train Effectively

"That is what learning is. You suddenly understand something you've understood all your life, but in a new way."
Doris Lessing

The essence of learning is participation, and Connected Training's focus on simulation as a learning tool allows the trainee to participate in the instructional process firsthand. By providing an interactive example of the process shown in the instruction module(s) that precede it, simulations allow the trainee to use the skills they have just learned to further enhance their learning experience.

Simulations can be provided via animation, sequenced imagery or digital video, allowing for "What if?" scenarios to be created within the training and testing environment. By providing this level of interactivity with the training materials themselves, Connected Training creates a higher retention level for the trainee to establish and reinforce the concepts they have just been shown. This is far more effective than passive instruction, such as that given through paper- or video-based training methods, and creates a longer-lasting impression in the mind of your employees.
